Generation Good

Recently I have joined the Seventh Generation community called Generation Good. They are a group of like minded individuals, many of them moms, who are advocating for clearer product labels and learning about how to live healthier. So far, I love it.

I have received free samples from Seventh Generation as part of the Generation Good community participation. So far we have received wipes, diapers, lotion, laundry detergent and diaper rash cream. We couldn’t be more ecstatic to be given the opportunity to try these out and share the Seventh Generation love.

I have previously tried the lotion and loved it. This lotion is hands down my favorite lotion this winter. I have found that as I have gotten older I have grown out of the strong smelling lotions you find and the popular bath and body stores. If we ever have a need to keep lotion on hand, the Seventh Generation Coconut Lotion will be my go to. Not too oily or greasy and smells wonderful.

Awesome laundry samples from Seventh Generation.

The laundry detergent didn’t perform any better or worse than the Arm & Hammer Free & Clear detergent that we have been using. The samples we got even had a slight scent to them. It wasn’t too strong like other scented detergents but was enough to be noticeable. That is a drawback for us. We prefer completely unscented detergent.

I look forward to testing the wipes and diapers soon. We ended up with a size that BabyM wasn’t quite ready for yet but she will within the next couple of weeks. I will say that we tend to just go with the cheapest diaper we can find regardless of brand. These would have to be something amazing for us to switch to them.

Have you joined Generation Good? What brand of diapers and laundry soap do you prefer to use?
