Cloth Diapers: Best Bottom

The very first cloth diapers I ever tried were with Big M when he was a year old. I chose the Best Bottom diaper because they are covers and inserts. The covers are a double leg gusset to the outside and the inserts are made to snap into the covers. GENIUS! There are adjustable waists and you can snap down the front as well for babies with shorter torso’s.

The covers are supposed to be all-in-one with different sized inserts ranging from small to large. They also carry doublers that can snap into the original insert for the heavy wetters. The inserts come in microfiber and hemp for those who want the hemp option. Another benefit of having the snap in inserts is for those who only get the inserts wet or don’t poop off the insert. All you have to do is pull out the insert and snap in a new one. In theory this means less need for a large number of covers. The covers are only around $16 and the inserts are also reasonably priced. I love the color combinations available and while they are not sold at a lot of stores they are not hard to find either if you just google search for them.

These diapers seem to fit both boys well and I even used them occasionally on Big M when he was around 2 years old. I do have long and lean babies, so keep that in mind. I cannot vouch for the fit on chubby babies.  Overall I was very impressed with these diapers as a first time try on cloth diapers.
