We didn’t make it to the library on Friday. Sickness swept through the house and at first we thought it was Pink Eye. Thank goodness it turned out not to be. Just some weird cold thing. We were able to go to town and then a birthday party on Saturday. After the birthday party we headed downstairs to the library to get some new books. We successfully finished one week of Kindergarten and so we needed more books. I like to keep 2 weeks at a time on hand in case we are actually able to move through it at a faster pace like I wanted to. We have not been able to do that yet but he is having fun and learning so I can’t complain.
So here we have our Library Haul for the week:
Cock-a-doodle-hooooooo! by Mick Manning
Cock-a-doodle-doo. Creak, Pop-pop, Moo. by Jim Aylesworth
Louise, The Adventures of a Chicken by Kate DiCamillo
Parents in the Pigpen, Pigs in the Tub by Amy Ehrlich
Over on the Farm by Christopher Gunson
Grumpy Goat by Brett Helquist
Lenore Finds a Friend by Jon Katz
Spot Goes to the Farm by Eric Hill
Otis and the Scarecrow by Loren Long
Pig has a Plan by Ethan Long
The Little Red Hen by Barry Downard
In case you didn’t guess, last library hauls were for the weekly themes of Family and Autumn. Can you guess what this one is?
